Title: Appreciative Inquiry, building on what is going right!

Appreciative Inquiry comes from a different type of Organizational Development (OD) thinking” Ambiguity can be embraced, and organizations can continually learn and grow. Many of today’s prominent OD interventions are geared to fix areas and processes that are not performing up to expectations. Appreciative Inquiry captures the things an organization is doing well, understanding that there are many ways to do a thing well. It then strives to create a new reality by identifying future possibilities. Our January meeting will be the foundation of an Appreciative Inquiry project examining the Leadership Development Special Interest Group (SIG) to explore our core values and to discuss how to improve the value our SIG delivers.
