C² Technologies Wins Contract to Automate Executive On-Boarding for VA

(Vienna, VA — February 2, 2012) C² Technologies, Inc. (C²), an industry leader in the development of innovative solutions that help Government streamline its operations, has won the opportunity to create a new automation tool for executive on-boarding at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Corporate Senior Executive Management Office (CSEMO).

On-boarding is the process by which the VA recruits, welcomes, and integrates new executives into the Department’s organizational culture, while enabling newly hired leaders to become comfortable and productive in their positions as quickly as possible. Automating the process of on-boarding enables the VA to achieve maximum value for taxpayer dollars by streamlining the needed steps, and determining via pre-defined metrics which ones require further optimization.

Among the on-boarding tasks C² is charged with automating for CSEMO are the preliminary populating of hiring forms and acquisition of security/access approval; enrollment in and completion of required training; scheduling of appointments with senior VA executives as needed; and submission of leadership assessment and employee feedback surveys. The tool C² will develop will not only be able to house and track the completion of pre-populated forms, but will also be able to provide access to interactive orientation and job-specific courseware, and a graphic dashboard allowing both new hires and superiors to monitor on-boarding progress.
