C² Technologies Wins Gold Remi Award for “Mr. Smith Goes to the Information Age” Cybersecurity Video

(Vienna, VA — May 7, 2012) C² Technologies, Inc. (C²) has won a prestigious Gold Remi from the WorldFest Film Festival for the training video Mr. Smith Goes to the Information Age, produced for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Information & Technology’s IT Workforce Development division.

Mr. Smith is a light-hearted short film that follows the efforts of the title character to arrive in time to prevent security breaches and to bring his associates heightened awareness of their information security roles.

C² CEO Dolly Oberoi said, “We are pleased to receive this recognition for training on an important subject, since cyber-attacks are the new form of terrorism and we must do everything possible to secure our data and our systems.”

Founded in 1961, WorldFest is the third-oldest international film festival in North America, and the oldest independent film-plus-video festival in the world. The event received well over 4,000 category entries from 37 countries in 2011, making it one of the largest competitions of its kind.
