(Vienna, VA — October 2, 2012) C² Technologies, Inc. (C²), an award-winning human performance improvement company, was awarded the Affordable Care Act Training contract for underserved populations through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
C² will develop Health Care Learning Solutions for Targeted Populations as part of the Implementing Affordable Care Act (ACA) initiative. C²’s efforts will support the CMS objectives of helping millions of uninsured people to gain access to training and resources where they can find affordable quality health insurance options, and to understand the information presented and obtain the assistance they need to enroll in an appropriate program and/or compare insurance plans to ascertain which meets their needs.
Among the members of the target audience are Medicare’s partners and stakeholders who work directly with Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries, helping them navigate the system and make informed health care decisions. The contract includes support to provide these partners with information, resources, and materials to prepare them for counseling and educating beneficiaries and caregivers, expanding the reach of CMS. Much of the information will be geared toward notifying and educating the public about upcoming changes to programs associated with the provisions of the ACA.
