C² Technologies Claims Gold in 2012 Brandon Hall Awards

(Vienna, VA — September 24, 2012)

C² Technologies, Inc. (C²), an industry leader in innovative distance learning and organizational improvement, has earned a coveted Gold Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning for Best Custom Content; full results are available online at http://go.brandonhall.com/Excellence_Awards_Home, with each separate category shown on the left of the home page.

C²’s Gold-winning project was the 3D Reactor Vessel Learning Activity, created for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). It employs detailed and highly interactive 3D models of nuclear reactor components to provide initial instruction that targets skill retention for diverse staffs of varied experience levels, as well as continuous just-in-time learning and refresher training as dictated by staff job duties. The program was developed in phases, initially focusing on one type of reactor vessel before being expanded to include a second type, implement programmatic enhancements to the earlier content, and provide an overview tutorial.

“This year’s winner should be very proud of their achievements, especially based on the rigorous judging process all submissions underwent,” said Mike Cooke, Chief Executive Officer of Brandon Hall Group, Inc. “We are honored to recognize the award winners, who exemplify a high standard of performance in their organization and demonstrate clear, measurable business results through these innovative programs.”

The entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group Senior Analysts, and Executive Leadership based upon the following criteria: fit to the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation, and overall measurable benefits.
