C² Technologies Wins Eight Omni Awards, Including Two Gold

(Vienna, VA — July 11, 2012) C² Technologies, Inc. (C²), an industry leader in the development of enterprise-wide human capital and learning solutions, has once again struck gold—this time in the Spring 2012 session of the Omni Intermedia program, where C² also won six Bronze awards.

C²’s ACSC Joint Force Capstone Exercises, developed in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College (ACSC), won two Gold Omni Awards—in both the Educational and Government categories—out of a total of only nine presented during the entire competition.  The product prepares leaders to coordinate air, space, and cyberspace forces in joint operations by testing and assessing their skills in an interactive, scenario-driven environment.  Because the landscape of the battlefield is ever-changing, ACSC’s capstone exercises are fully adaptable, updatable, and expandable within its existing infrastructure.  The project secured an award program’s highest honor for the second time this year, having already received a Platinum Hermes Award in May.

Joining the winner’s circle for C² were four more company projects, with two receiving multiple Bronze Award recognition.  The National Nuclear Security Administration’s Virtual Orientation Center and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s 3D Reactor Vessel Learning Activity each achieved double distinction in the Educational and Government categories, while the U.S. Department of Energy’s Jobs One Portal and the Council of State Archivists’ Intergovernmental Preparedness for Essential Records courseware also received Bronze Awards.

The Omni Intermedia Awards are owned and operated by Media Corp Inc., “which exists to recognize outstanding media productions that engage, empower and enlighten.”  The organization focuses on the converging fields of Film, Video, TV, Internet, Interactive Media, Animation, and Audio production, and recognizes efforts in those disciplines that exemplify the highest standards of quality.
