C² Technologies, Inc. (C²), an industry leader in training and performance improvement with a fast-growing reputation in the cyber security field, has seen its informational short film Mr. Smith Goes to the Information Age earn yet another prestigious accolade—in this case, The Aurora Awards Gold Award for Cinematography/Videography and the Platinum Best of Show for Issue Awareness.
Mr. Smith, which was developed for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information Technology, is a light-hearted production that follows the efforts of the title character to arrive in time to prevent security breaches and to bring his associates heightened awareness of their information security roles.
The Aurora Awards join a long line of recognitions for Mr. Smith—a line that includes The Golden Eagle, the Houston Film Festival, and the Telly Awards.
The Aurora Awards are an independent and international Film & Video Competition for commercials, cable programming, documentaries, and industrial, instructional, and corporate videos. The Aurora Awards judging panels are selected from award-winning industry professionals throughout the United States and abroad. The judging functions are performed by working film and video professionals on panels set up in major cities across the country. Most are writers, producers, or directors who are themselves previous award-winners.
