C²’s Cyber Security Video “Mr. Smith Goes to the Information Age” Wins More Gold

(Vienna, VA — September 4, 2012)

C² Technologies, Inc. (C²), an industry leader in training and performance improvement with a fast-growing reputation in the cyber security field, has seen its informational short film Mr. Smith Goes to the Information Age earn yet another prestigious accolade—this time CINE’s Golden Eagle Award in the Business/Safety, Training & Employee Development category.

Mr. Smith, which was developed for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Information Technology, is a light-hearted production that follows the efforts of the title character to arrive in time to prevent security breaches and to bring his associates heightened awareness of their information security roles.

The Golden Eagle is the latest in a series of awards to recognize Mr. Smith, with the Houston Film Festival having already bestowed its Gold Remi and the Telly Awards having presented the project with its Bronze distinction.

The CINE Golden Eagle Award has honored excellence throughout the film and television industries for more than half a century. Since its founding in 1957, CINE has helped to promote the careers of thousands of filmmakers through a series of juried competitions, educational programs, and networking opportunities. CINE adapts its programs and competitions continually to ensure that its Golden Eagle continues to represent significant peer recognition for filmmakers in varied genres.
