Project Purpose:
To develop 3D modules and Virtual Reality (VR) environments for Maintenance training and troubleshooting.
The Results:
- Incorporated 3D models into NGRAIN, within the Virtual Task Trainer (VTT) environment to create equally proficient seaman training levels when compared to traditional classroom training.
- Implemented modeled components and assessments into an Augmented Reality (AR) environment using Microsoft HoloLens technology.
- Developed 3D model components, allowing Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) personnel to incrementally analyze, design, develop, and perform requirement maintenance to ensure rapid delivery and consistent results.
