Lab Safety

Project Purpose:
To provide technical support, designing, developing and implementing Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) Laboratory Training

The Results:

• Improved safe practices in Center for Disease Control (CDC) laboratories through fundamental safety training equipment such as, biosafety cabinets, chemical fume hoods and centrifuges.
• Enhanced CDC laboratory staff training opportunities by providing webinars and courses on topics identified as needed or beneficial for professional development and competency enhancement in quality management, laboratory safety and FDA regulatory affairs.
• Provided content management, coding, and graphic design to publish newsletters, articles, roll-out communications, and other updates to designated CDC web pages.
