In support of the Veterans Employment Initiative created by Executive Order 13518 on the Employment of Veterans in the Federal Government, C² designed and developed mandatory training for Federal human resources professionals and Federal hiring managers on Veterans’ employment. Topics included benefits of hiring Veterans, Veterans’ preference, key points of the Veterans Employment Initiative, and uses of special appointing authorities, and methods for working with the Veterans Employment Program Office (VEPO) to cultivate a ready recruitment source of Veterans.
These mandatory courses were deployed with the GoLearn environment, as well as many different learning management systems (LMSs) across all agencies in the Executive Branch.
In addition, C² updated and revised a web-based course on the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployed Rights Act (USERRA) which includes key points of USERRA, how it protects the employment rights of uniformed service members, and the appeal process for USERRA complaints.
Also developed under this contract were two eLearning courses on Federal Employment Training, designed specifically for Veterans, transitioning service members, and certain military family members.
