Project Purpose:
To support human resources (HR) and workforce planning activities for the US Coast Guard (USCG)
The Results:
- Performed strategic consulting and work related to qualification requirements for various hiring authorities and recruitment sources, using applicable automation tools within the established hiring timeframes.
- Executed and tracked all HR duties assigned in support of high recruitment goals; researched applicable laws to aid in the staffing needs.
- Delivered specialty services and provided staff with interdisciplinary expertise to address specific or endemic issues.
- Drafted/edited position descriptions (PDs), standardized PDs, created PD libraries, performed PD reviews, conducted desk audits, prepared comprehensive position evaluation statements, and performed workforce restructuring activities.
